Accounting Manager, Southlake (125K-130K+Bonus)

We are looking to fill an Accounting Manager role with a progressive and fast growing Pharmaceutical Company. This position will play an integral role in supporting the Controller in managing the day-to-day accounting operations. This is a multifaceted role that requires wearing multiple hats and to will be hands-on in managing staff and core accounting tasks.This position pays 125K-130K+Bonus. The company also offers a strong and generous benefits package that is above industry standards. In addition, this position will offer upward mobility. This position is in office ONLY on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.Responsibilities• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements as well as other supporting reports and reconciliations both for internal use and for our lender.• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, receivables and general ledger• Budgeting and Forecasting - collaborate with managers to develop budgets and monthly forecasting. Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights.• Audits - Coordination with external auditors on annual audits• Management - Supervise and develop staff of 3-4 and outsource resources with goal setting, training, and mentorship fostering a culture of high performance and compassion within the team.• Oversee preparation of weekly working capital reports, hedge payments and long term note payments and interest, and assist Controller as needed with other treasury functions• All other duties and projects as assignedQualifications• CPA is a Big Plus• 6-10 years of experience showing upward progression and management of staff• Good working knowledge of GAAP• Leadership skills with dedication to achieving results and improving processes• High level of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software packagesIf you are interested in this job or other Accounting and Finance career opportunities from LHH Recruitment Solutions please email Rami Muhanna at rami.muhanna@lhh.com or visit our website at www.lhh.com
