The Details
Our underwriters focus on two fundamental questions: Should Liberty Mutual write a policy for a particular customer? What is a fair price for the risk that we would incur by writing the policy?

As an Underwriting Trainee, you’ll draw upon your strong analytic, communication, and negotiation skills to understand our customers and their needs, and how to profitably accept the risks that our policies cover.

The target annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. Salary is commensurate with candidate experience.

As an Underwriting Trainee at Liberty Mutual Canada, you'll dive into the exciting realm of property and casualty insurance starting in April or May 2025. As you gain insights into policy coverages and market products, you’ll play a crucial role in helping Liberty Mutual achieve its growth and profitability targets.
