The Motion Graphic Video Production Specialist, within the Marketing Department will produce high quality visual content that upholds and communicates Liberty’s mission and vision. An ideal candidate is a dynamic, self-motivated motion graphic designer with strong design and animation skills with a willingness to grow.Essential Functions And Responsibilities• Research: Remains knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks; watches and researches promotional videos and other video productions in relation to motion graphics• Pre-Production: Brainstorms and develops animated video concepts in cooperation with existing University brand initiatives; Attends meetings with internal clients and interacts with them to develop and coordinate graphics solutions for their requests; Storyboards and develop animation style that will be needed for each project.• Animation: As part of the marketing team, the Motion Graphic Designer/Animator will be tasked in conceptualizing, developing and executing a variety of animation and video projects in the fast-paced education industry. Candidate must be experienced in motion graphics/animation using Adobe After Effects and have a strong graphic design background with knowledge of illustration, typography, color and branding design. This position also requires basic knowledge of videography, lighting, audio and video editing.• Motion Graphics Specialist will get to work on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and help maintain and develop a strong motion brand across all marketing materials.. They will produce:• Lower third and endslate graphics packages for promotional videos,• LED display graphics for various events and video shoots,• Assets for projection mapped surfaces around campus,• Explainer videos• Social Media ads.• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills are required, as well good communication, ability to take feedback well and collaborate with other video producers and graphic designers.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not supervise anyone.Qualifications And CredentialsEducation and Experience• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.• Approximately One to Three• Motion Graphics Video Production Specialist is proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite, with proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Typical schedule takes place during regular business hours (8am – 5pm). Upon occasion, video production specialist is responsible for filming during long extended hours.
