We are looking for a strong software engineer for the Rider team to build the best user experience for our customers. 


The Rider team is the heart of Lime’s business. We are responsible for improving Lime’s core riding experience including signup, onboarding, trip flow, pricing, subscriptions, and much more. Our goal is to build the perfect experience for our customers so that they become power users. 


You’ll be working on big bets, scaling up successful products, learning new technologies and contributing to key strategic initiatives. The best part? You’ll be able to showcase all that you built to your friends and family.

What you'll do:

  • Identify, define, and solve strategically essential consumer-facing rider problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational product platforms, leading new product initiatives, and revamping core rider experiences.

  • Scrutinize and reason clearly about the technology and architecture choices we make. In many cases, you will be the decider of these decisions.

  • Lead the cross-functional collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.

  • Mentor and support other engineers on the team. Identify and develop future leaders.

  • Advise Lime’s leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements.

About you:

  • 2+ years of industry professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems.

  • 1+ years of experience coding in Ruby on Rails preferred
