The Challenge and The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Mid-Level Digital Designer who will play a key role in supporting the visual identity of our campaigns, promotions, and brand materials across digital channels. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring a dynamic "can-do" attitude, and are passionate about creating high-quality designs that resonate with audiences. You'll work closely with our marketing team to bring our brand vision to life through compelling visuals.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design and execute digital assets, including web designs, email campaigns, social media graphics, Meta ads, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts that align with business goals and maintain brand consistency.
  • Translate creative briefs into impactful designs that meet strategic objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to keep our creative output innovative and relevant.
  • Support photo/video production efforts as needed.

Local Crafts Group, (formerly Premier Needle Arts (PNA)), manages five well-known brands: Connecting Threads, Knit Picks, Superior Threads, Crochet.com and Berroco. Our hands-on approach helps us provide fabrics, threads, yarns, and tools that meet our customers' preferences while maintaining exceptional quality.

*After your training and introductory 90 days you may be approved in a hybrid arrangement; all staff is scheduled to be in-office on Tuesday’s and Wednesdays

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, with expertise in digital design and exposure to print design/production in consumer products.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) required.
  • Able to create gifs; basic video editing preferred.
  • Strong grasp of design principles, including typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and balance.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.

  • An agile self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who thrives in an ever-changing work environment and values feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience or interest in the craft industry a plus.

Our compensation package is designed to match industry standards and account for factors like your geographical location, expertise, and years of experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you'll have access to performance-based bonuses and a wide range of benefits.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$61,000 - $71,000 per year.

Candidates from different locations within the United States may receive varying salary offers.
