We are looking for an inspiring and self-motivated Security Operations Center Team Lead for our Integrated Global Services branch located in Denver or Houston! You will lead an amazing team of individuals while supporting several clients across our organization in this fast-paced, challenging and rewarding role. Our anticipated date of hire for this role is January/February 2025.


A Day in the Life:
  • Lead a geographically dispersed, 7x24 team of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Security Operations Center (SOC) Analysts supporting Long View clients and tools
  • Serve as an escalation point for SOC Team members, leading decisions, guidance, and action
  • Mentor and train SOC staff on:
  • o   Best practice responding to infrastructure alerts
  • o   Use and enhancement of Logic Monitor, Pager Duty, Sentinel and other monitoring tools
  • Ensure timely response to detect, triage and escalate alerts
  • Lead continuous improvement within the SOC
  • Manage expectations around performance and procedural work for team members
  • Conduct weekly team meetings and regular one-on-ones with SOC team members
  • Ensure ROC operations align to written procedure and policy to assure quality of service delivery
  • Maintain the body of written procedures and policies
  • Ensure responsiveness of the ROC team by driving accountability
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure that all objectives and commitments are fulfilled in line with expectations, agreements and standards
  • Respond to and manage escalations related to client incidents and inquiries
  • Respond to and manage escalations related to SOC tools


What You Bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience in leading a team that works 24/7 and is geographically distributed
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-tenant infrastructure tools and systems comprised of on-premise and cloud connected technologies
  • 3+ years of experience working in a multi-tenant service provider environment
  • Experience working with and managing incident, problem, change and service requests that follow ITIL framework standards
  • Strong strategic planning and analytics skills
  • Willingness and ability to adhere to service delivery excellence


What Makes You Extra Awesome:
  • Hands on experience with Logic Monitor, Sentinel and Pager Duty
  • Network, Server or Cloud certifications such as Network+, Server+, RHCE, Azure or similar
  • Security certifications are also an asset
  • Experience with vendor engagement and negotiations


$69,960 - $91,823 a year

$61,310  – $91,965 salary
