Temp HR Business PartnerPay Range: $75 - $90/hrHybrid Roe in Tarrytown, NY6 Month ContractThis is a hybrid role with the requirement to be onsite in Tarrytown, NY a minimum of 3 days a week.This temporary contract assignment is for 6-months with an expected start date in November 2024.Regeneron is seeking a temporary HR Business Partner in Tarrytown, NY to support the R&pD business, reporting into the VP, HR Business Partner. This role will work collaboratively with their team, and the HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, OD Consulting, People Analytics and Reporting, Total Rewards and HR Operations) to ensure HR can create programs and solutions that meet their business needs.You will act as an advisor to R&pD executives and leaders on R&pD on organizational and people related issues, including talent acquisition and talent development, DEI, change management, employee engagement, organization design and effectiveness. Prior experience and knowledge of of the biopharmaceutical business with a high level of comfort in interacting with scientific leaders is strongly preferred in this role.The incumbent acts as a champion and a coach for the R&pD business, monitoring and influencing the effect of business decisions on people, and translating R&pD business needs to the HR COE’s—and vice versa.In a typical day, you will:• Partner closely with R&PD leaders to understand both short term and longer-term business strategies that need people and HR support for success.• Work with leaders to help uncover and identify how best to solve business driven people related issues.• Identify needs within R&pD and partners with OE team to design and deliver solutions that support the evolution of the R&pD organization and operating model.• Partner with leaders to identify current and future talent & capability needs. Participates in interviews for key leadership positions and partners with leaders on executive onboarding.• Partner with leaders and HRBP’s to implement development plans for our current and next gen R&pD talent. Accountable for HR support of a number of R&pD workstreams (Mentoring, Rotation Program, Career ladders, Talent Development). Will partner with Talent Development to design and lead succession planning for R&pD.• Work with VP HRBP on executive year end processes.• Provide coaching to R&pD executives and leaders, with an emphasis on the helping them understand their options and support them to lead via the Regeneron Way cultural valuesTo be considered, you must possess the following:• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or HR related discipline; advanced degree such as MBA, or Master’s in Organization Development or Human Resources is preferred.• Minimum 12 years’ experience in our industry: pharma/biopharma/biotech in an HR or management role.• Must have deep experience working with and influencing senior management & technical leaders in the biotech/pharmaceutical sectors.• Demonstrates a strong comfort with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, using data to tell a story and influence leaders and HR colleagues.• Take initiative, sets direction for the R&pD HRBP team and the R&pD leaders and has a deep ability to negotiate and prioritize the essential over the non-essential for self and others.• This role is both diagnostic and solution driven, so the ability to take a step back, cast a wide net and do root cause analyses, and use data to deliver pragmatic solutions are critical for success in this role.• Demonstrated track record of developing innovative HR strategies that not only solve this issue of today and are scalable for the future.• Must be learning agile and able to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and able to quickly translate complex people and data issues into clear and coherent solutions.This is a contract position at Regeneron with Magnit Global being the Employer.To do our best work we need different viewpoints.
