E-commerce Insights Manager

The E-commerce Insights Manager will play a critical role in analyzing e-commerce performance, developing strategic initiatives, and implementing data-driven solutions to strengthen our online presence. This position involves collaborating closely with senior management, commercial, marketing, and data teams to address key business challenges and recommend actionable strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and a good understanding of the e-commerce landscape.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies that align with the company's omnichannel vision and overall business goals.
  • Leverage internal and external resources to identify, evaluate, and monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics.

2. Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

  • Analyse and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and website traffic, to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns across channels.

3. Data Analysis and Action Planning:

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to solve critical business challenges by synthesizing data from multiple sources and sharing actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  • Develop sales forecasting models, campaign targets, financial reports, and support omnichannel initiatives.

4. Team Leadership and Project Management:

  • Manage and mentor analytics teams, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making by conducting periodic training sessions and workshops.
