About You
Nutrafol is seeking a Manager of Customer Data Platform Operations. In this role, you will be advising stakeholders on customer data strategy, while handling the data configurations, using your existing deep knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes. You'll be working closely together with stakeholders on what customer attributes are to be utilized within any given solution. A core goal is for you to drive successful and winning architectural designs for customers’ data and in the marketing domains from design and planning to implementation.
In this role, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with internal marketing channels and agency partners to enhance the businesses ability to locate, segment, target and grow audience cohorts. Utilizing expertise in database marketing, you will perform a key role in moving customers from prospect to loyal in both lead generation and retention marketing efforts.
The objective of this role is to use audiences and segmentation to tactically target and find qualified customers across marketing channels to drive store/site visits and increase sales.
Responsibilities:
- As Customer Data Platforms lead, you will manage all aspects of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) to support Nutrafol’s digital and non-digital marketing and customer experiences
- Define data schemas and data abstractions for multiple customer profile types within the CDP, fulfilling marketing use cases for audience selection and activation and enabling their use for activation via diverse marketing channels and customer journeys
- Transform large and disparate data sets to create highly targeted customer audiences for personalized customer experiences
- Define and manage processes to continually maintain and improve audience data quality and technology usage
- Take responsibility for daily activation and maintenance of target audiences across acquisition and/or retention marketing channels
- Develop queries for complex customer segments
- Partner with cross functional teams to create and drive the roadmap of Customer Data Platform
- Support cross functional partners with audience and segmentation creation to tactically target and find qualified customers across marketing channels to drive visits, increase sales and improve retention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in science, statistics, mathematics and/or Data Analysis Certification
- 4+ years progressive marketing analytics, audience management, acquisition marketing and/or retention marketing experience with proficiency in CDP/CRM technology
- High level of experience with customer data platforms
- Ability to translate marketing use cases and business requirements into CDP data sets, schemas and platform configurations to deliver business outcomes
- Familiarity with digital audience targeting capabilities
- Proficiency in audience related technologies, including CDP, Segment, Iterable, Vidora
- Experience working with event stream data (Mixpanel, Google Analytics)
- Familiarity with Data Governance and Data Privacy concepts and regulations, data management and transformation, ETL, and data modeling
- Experience communicating to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a proven ability to partner effectively across levels and develop positive working relationships
- Ability to iterate with limited day-to-day direction, independently prioritize and resolve issues, and comfortable taking ownership of projects
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including both receiving and offering feedback
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in statistics, science, mathematics or related field
- Previous work history in e-commerce
Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
Salary Range:
$120,000—$135,000 USD
