About The Role

The Solutions group within Axoni is the client-facing team responsible for managing client relationships, client onboarding, and product development. Demand to implement our post trade equity swap software, Veris, is driving our need to grow as a firm and we are seeking qualified candidates for Solutions. This will be a critical role working directly with clients to design, build and deliver cutting edge products that will define the future of Capital Markets.

As a Manager in Solutions, you will be operating in an agile environment, working closely with clients, developers, and project teams to gather requirements, design solutions, formulate project plans, and ultimately execute implementations through to final delivery. As part of your role, you'll be expected to 1) prepare and participate in client presentations, 2) assist clients through technical integrations with our platform, 3) manage client testing, 4) analysis of existing and proposed application functionality to meet industry demand, 5) managing the client experience, 6) and take a leading role in industry forums.

Candidates should have a strong interest in capital markets and emerging technology as well as an ability to support projects by distilling complex issues, deliverables, and work streams into discrete and manageable components. Candidates must be highly motivated, organized, and demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills. We are a collaborative team, and you should be a team player who thrives working with others in a constantly evolving environment. This role will focus on client facing project management (developing and coordinating execution of onboarding plans with clients). Candidates should be familiar with equity derivatives and while this is not a technical role the candidate should be well versed enough to interface with technologists at our clients and internally to ensure successful onboarding.

You will:

    • Maintain client relationships while onboarding and integrating with Axoni’s equity swap platform
    • Create and maintain presentations and documentation for our solutions including updates to project plans
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and document operational & system workflows and user stories
    • Translate complex system processes and requirements into usable functional specifications and deliverable solutions
    • Support testing of functional and non-functional requirements to ensure successful development of workflows
    • Work with internal project leads to ensure successful delivery of projects
    • Provide knowledge and assistance on a range of ad hoc projects as needed, ranging from large-scale production implementations to business development initiatives and PoCs (Proof of Concepts)

You have:

    • 5+ years of experience in a product-development and/or program management capacity in financial services operations or technology, or a financial technology startup
    • Proven capability and experience developing presentations suitable for clients and senior stakeholders
    • Self-motivated and intellectually curious to quickly learn new technical skills/knowledge through either formal or self-organized learning
    • Knowledge and interest in various asset classes within capital markets
    • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail in written and oral communications with clients, technology, and business stakeholders

Nice to have:

    • Knowledge of JIRA and ability to write concise detailed functional requirements
    • Experience in client platform integrations and onboarding
    • Knowledge of capital markets post-trade life cycle functionality and industry processes for securities, and OTC derivatives.
    • Familiarity in programming and/or financial communication protocols (e.g. JSON, FpML, Python, FIX, SWIFT)
