Secure our Nation, Ignite your FutureManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Tester to join our team in Herndon, VA.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Execute all aspects of software testing, both manual and automated.• Test the applications and functionality that our customers use to demonstrate cybersecurity compliance.• Enhance the software testing capabilities for our customer’s GOTS applications.• Act as the central point of contact, with responsibility for software testing activities on existing and future applications.• Learn the systems and create test cases, reports and test matrices for each new additional feature and function of the systems.• Understand the user experience with the applications being tested by attending user forums to hear the issues that users are having with the applications or processes supporting them.• Contribute as a member of an agile and fast-paced Scrum Team.Required Qualifications:• Bachelors degree and 1 year of experience in software integration or software testing OR High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience software integration or software testing. Relevant certifications can be applied as years of experience.• Experience in testing and debugging of COTS and GOTS software.• Experience with adapting to new system interfaces.Preferred Qualifications• Experience with Selenium or other testing automation tools.• Experience testing in a CentOS, RHEL, SE Linux and Windows environment.Clearance Required:• Active/Current TS/SCI with polygraphPhysical Requirements:• stationary positionSKN.7.23For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
