Marketing Graphic Designer

OVERVIEW
Equilar is looking for a skilled, agile marketing graphic designer to assist with Equilar’s expanding goals in sales, products, marketing, and events. In this role, you will work on a high volume of diverse projects with fast turnarounds and often-reshuffled priorities. The position is a full-time, hybrid role in Redwood City, CA requiring employees to be in the office three days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conceptualize and produce high-quality designs based on direction from the senior designer and leadership
Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to create collateral and presentations
Develop engaging graphics, product videos, animated GIFs, compensation reports, and icons
Participate in brand strategies for upcoming events and coordinate with the team to design required materials such as name tags, brochures, and keynote presentations
Work closely with the senior designer and marketing department to brainstorm on new web page designs
Provide creative feedback and respond to design critique and art direction with accurate updates
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who is proactive in moving projects forward with a passion for quality and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have by-the-book organization and out-of-the-box creativity.
QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience, preferably in-house at a SaaS or B2B company
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
Strong portfolio with demonstrated expertise in graphic design, presentation design, and web design, highlighting your specific contributions to each project
Experience in Google Slides, Google Sheets, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere Pro
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and image optimization
Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized even when faced with tight deadlines
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and best design practices
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift frequently

Compensation: $55k - $65k annually
