Who you are:
As Marketing Manager for First-Year Abroad and Gap, you will champion the life-changing experience of studying abroad to students who are graduating or who have recently graduated from U.S. high schools. You will generate leads, nurture prospects, and support confirmations through multiple channels for First-Year Abroad and Gap programs. To secure CIEE’s position as the preferred provider for post-high school global experiential learning, you will manage a Marketing Coordinator; drive ongoing outreach and engagement to students, parents, and schools; manage content and design development; and ensure timely tracking and reporting on marketing activities for First-Year Abroad and Gap.
What you’ll do:

Achieve aggressive sales targets for CIEE’s post-high school graduation portfolio including First-Year Abroad and Gap
-
Implement marketing strategies that are on point, on schedule, and meet the right audience to support sales activity
-
Implement, evaluate, and continuously improve marketing strategies to recruit High School Counselors, Independent Educational Consultants, and other secondary education partners that influence post-high school pathways
-
Maximize conversions through close communication and teamwork
-
Analyze data and provide reporting on business performance and deliverables
-
Ensure that college partners are accurately represented in First-Year Abroad marketing assets
-
Manage a Marketing Coordinator and ensure timely completion of tasks including print and digital marketing materials; web edits and third-party site listings; messaging and email nurture; promotions and digital campaigns; social media calendar and engagement; events; marketing spend tracking and reporting; production and inventory of giveaways

Coordinate with CIEE’s Global Education Advisors to foster ongoing relationships with principals, teachers, counselors, and district administrators to keep CIEE at the forefront of post-high school study-abroad opportunities

Monitor industry trends and competitive activities

Travel occasionally during the September to June selling season

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
-
Minimum of 4 years of college admissions marketing, study abroad marketing, or related function in a marketing department
-
An enthusiastic commitment to education and personal belief in the power of bilingualism, cultural competency, global citizenship, and how studying abroad is an integral part of achieving these objectives
-
Excellent project management and organizational skills
-
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Experience in basic graphic design and fluency in the Adobe Software suite (specifically, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canvas
-
Experience with simple video editing (iMovie, Premiere, Windows Movie Maker a plus)

Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously

Comfortable with web-based project management tools and collaboration technologies
-
Creative problem-solving with a "can-do mentality"

Flexible, change-embracing in rapidly evolving work and market environment

Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of stakeholders

Experience with Drupal or similar CMS is a plus

International experience is a plus
