We are seeking an Intern to join our Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN. This rotational program includes job rotations, training, and mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully complete the job requirements associated with three rotations in addition to all program training requirements. Potential rotational assignments may include Operational Excellence, Capital Projects, Project Management, Mine Planning, or others based on interest and business needs.
- Actively learn the role requirements of the rotational assignment, deliver strong project and/or task performance, and leave your mark on the team by delivering lasting improvements.
- Collaborate with project and cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems, learning and applying continuous improvement methodologies to deliver desired business results.
- Transform data into information, information into insights, and insights into action that add value to the enterprise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including internal customers and peers
- Support other strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by The Company
- Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures, and Code of Ethical Business Conduct
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field required
- Data analysis, presentation, and group project experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment required
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt in a dynamic environment, and multi-task required
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time required
- Previous internship or co-op experience preferred
- Project management experience preferred
