This team, comprised of analysts/Product Managers-Technical (PMTs), is aligned to better understand the evolving nature of our data and apply these learnings into continuous modernization efforts. As such, the team will be addressing data issues, questions, and analysis inquiries that flow into DPES. They will also liaise and ideate with key partners and stakeholders to identify efficiency as well as enhancement opportunities based on inquiry trends and their data knowledge.Responsibilities:In this people manager position, you will:• Formally supervise a team of analysts/PMTs who address data requests from a variety of sources requiring review, triage, and action/assignment• Develop and communicate the team vision that supports the broader organizational vision• Build upon current framework to support team pillars necessary for customer success• Provide solid people leadership and technical guidance to team, prioritizing business value• Regularly coach and offer feedback to direct reports to help grow individual functional skills and leadership capabilities, with support from senior managers• Set goals for individuals to achieve department or function-level objectives• Drive subject matter expertise (i.e. technical guidance, insights, and best practices) within the team regarding data stored in DPES• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across multiple organizations• Provide strategic thinking and leadership to support modernization efforts, ensure regulatory compliance and brand reputation• Take ownership of complex problems and challenges with dependencies across programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive timely and quality resolution• Manage escalations, assess the alternative to resolve (path to green), and build a plan for resolutionAll About You:• A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a customer-first mindset• Critical thinking skills with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the faculty to foster collaboration and alignment• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders• Project management proficiency with demonstrated ability to prioritize, track, and deliver results• Experience in the payments industry or related area• Degree in relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business)• Database knowledge/experience (Oracle and/or Hadoop)• Advanced SQL skills and experience developing insights from large datasets is a plusLocation Requirement: This is a hybrid position based in Mastercard's O'Fallon, Missouri location.Mastercard is an inclusive equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
