Sales Development Representative

Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for connecting people to solutions that make a difference? MasteryPrep is looking for motivated Sales Development Representatives to support our mission of leveling the playing field in education by identifying and nurturing leads that align with our innovative test preparation solutions.

In this role, you’ll act as the first point of contact for potential clients, creating meaningful relationships and generating qualified leads. You’ll play a key role in expanding MasteryPrep’s reach to schools and districts nationwide, helping educators access the tools they need to empower student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:  

- Conduct high-volume outreach via calls, emails, and social media to connect with prospective clients.  

- Qualify leads and identify decision-makers to ensure opportunities are aligned with MasteryPrep’s services.  

- Partner with sales team members to schedule meetings and support the sales pipeline.  

- Build and maintain detailed records of prospect interactions and progress in the CRM system.  

- Research and analyze prospective customers to customize outreach strategies.  

- Collaborate with the marketing team to align on campaigns and optimize lead generation efforts.  

- Meet or exceed monthly goals for lead generation and appointment setting.  

- Stay informed about MasteryPrep’s offerings and the competitive landscape to provide value-driven solutions.

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role involving outreach and relationship-building.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience.  
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach).  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Proven ability to research and qualify leads effectively. 
  • Currently residing in the Baton Rouge, LA area and willing to work from our home office.
  • Experience in Education or EdTech is preferred.  
  • Proficiency in lead generation tools is preferred
  • $60,000 starting salary
