Material Handler

Holman has a great opportunity for a Material Handler to join our team in Simpsonville, KY!

Shift: 6a-2:30p M-F ONLY

Pay: $17/hr+

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Pull and stage parts for job/work orders.
• Allocate/reduce required parts to job/work orders and complete requisitions for parts shortages.
• Fill out and turn in add/ remove sheets to the materials lead or the materials supervisor.
• Check with all of the leads in every area of the shop to make sure the install team has everything they need for their current and upcoming builds.
• Body Movement – In/out of shop.
• Bodies need to be propped up carefully with wood when sat directly on the pavement and extra protection needs to be added on all four corners of stacked bodies.
• Fill/ replenish any racks or stock parts on shop floor.
• Pick up any take off seats or take off beds in the shop and dispose of them in the correct area for scrap.
• Returning unused parts back to warehouse for put away.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of all inventoried items (controlled and/or non-controlled).
• Organize and keep warehouse and racking clean.
• Ensure all parts inside and outside have a legible part# label on them.
• Assist and participate in conducting cycle counts.
• Stage/Prep vehicles for delivery directly to customers (Customer Pickup/Drive Away)
• Daily tasks assigned each day.

What are we looking for?

• Prior experience/forklift certifications in warehouse / materials environment desired.
• Must be able to work in multiple environments – shop, outside in all types of weather conditions as well as in an office.
• Familiarity with UPS/FedEx shipping systems
• Properly check-in and move vehicles being delivered.
• Basic computers skills.
• Has a good attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize daily activities.
• Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment.
• Understand the value that quality plays in the overall success of the company, help in increasing the quality of our products for the appearance and safety for our customers.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
