Job Description
The starting wage for a Material Handler is $18.90 plus a shift premium of $0.95/hour for off shifts, with the opportunity to grow to $23.45/hour (plus shift premium). 2nd shift available.
Currently, we are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for this position. New associates will receive the sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment. Responsibilities of the Material Handler include:
Understanding and following Environmental/Safety Requirements.
Move Material throughout the CPM Operation as needed.
Assist Shipping with the loading and unloading of mix trucks as needed.
Banding of skids and cardboard.
Emptying the trash bulk packs throughout the department.
Removing and weighing up the scrap and tailing bulk packs as needed and placing them
in the proper storage area.
Manage WIP storage to ensure FIFO through the next operation.
Placing material in proper location i.e.: outgoing, final audit or shipping
Relieving for break as directed by the Team Leader/Supervisor.
Maintaining and organizing the dunnage storage areas and dunnage room.

Manage the NCM areas:
Ensure neat and orderly placement of the deviated product.
Ensuring skids are properly tagged/deviated.
Removal of material that has been dispositioned to sort, process or scrap
Completion of scrap tags when product is scrapped.
Providing the necessary supplies for operators at the cells.
Transfer of bulk oil deliveries into the movable totes.
Empty wastewater/oil tanks when needed and place in the proper location for removal.
Assist with the offline sorting and rework operations as directed.
Completing daily 7S task to keep the department neat and orderly.
Assist with inverting mix for the presses as needed.
Ensure all machines are stocked with ample supply of parts at all times.
WI and JSA location and understanding.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Able to work any shift (1st shift: 7AM-3PM, 2nd Shift: 3PM-11PM, 3rd Shift: 11PM-7AM)
Availability to work full time and overtime
Ability to obtain a forklift license and operate a fork truck safely
