The Headlines:
In the role of Material Handler-Soreroomworking in Shenandoah you will be part of the procurement team. You will receives and maintains storeroom inventory to expedite movement of material and parts between production area.
The Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving parts and materials inventory.
- Responsible for cycle counting.
- Uses tools and is responsible for their accountability.
- Resolves any material needs, solving material problems and inventory control issues as they arise.
- Updates computer generated inventories.
- Must provide support to all areas of the brewery with needed materials.
- Must safely ship and receive hazardous materials used in brewery process while adhering to DOT requirements.
- Must work with planners to determine accurate stocking levels and reduce unneeded inventory.
The Other Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent required
- Fork truck license
- Knowledge in SAP system
- Knowledge in MS Office
- Knowledge in parts handling
- Prior inventory experience
- 2+ years in manufacturing parts environment or equivalent.
- Ability to work full-time, all shifts, all schedules, and all days of the week to include weekends and holidays.
- Ability to be called in for emergency coverage and work overtime as necessary.
