As a CTS Inside AM, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your primary objective will be to achieve gross profit and sales targets by growing your assigned account territory above base sales activity, maximizing revenue, and increasing profitability. This is a hybrid role with time spent in the office each week for team meetings, specialized training, and business reviews with customers.Key Responsibilities:• Financials:Achieve Gross Profit and Revenue goals, monitor and manage key financial metrics such as pricing, discounts, and margins to ensure profitability. Continuously evaluate and optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market competitiveness• Account Penetration:Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations to increase customer loyalty and retention. Actively seek cross-selling and upselling opportunities by understanding customer needs and aligning them with appropriate product offerings.• Territory Management:Continuously analyze and evaluate the market landscape, competitive landscape, and customer trends within the assigned territory. Identify and target high-potential accounts for prospecting and conversion, using a strategic and data-driven approach. Regularly update and adjust territory sales plans based on market dynamics and changing customer needs.• Collaboration & Engagement:• Foster strong internal relationships with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of customer orders and deliver exceptional customer service. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance on product selection, industry trends, and best practices. Proactively gather customer feedback and insights, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders to drive product and service enhancements.• Continuous Learning and Development:Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge to effectively position McKesson's offerings and differentiate from competitors. Seek out training and development opportunities to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and business acumen. Embrace a growth mindset and actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team.Minimum Requirements:• 2+ years of relevant experienceCritical Skills:• 2 years business experience in Sales environment with focus on B2B sales and/or pharmaceutical sales• Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and presentation)• Aggressive self-starter with a passion for sales and the demonstrated ability to present ideas, gain acceptance, build strong relationships, and influence decision over the phone• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation with the ability to work comfortably within all levels of the organizationAdditional Knowledge & Skills:• Prior clinical trial experience or exposure is a plus• Prior sales experience in pharmaceutical, B2B, or distribution is a plus• Experience positioning/ selling value propositions and technology solutions• Experience managing territory profitability• Experience collaborating with sales specialists/ team selling• Proficiency with using a CRM tool (e.g., Salesforce)• Proficiency with sales analytics• Proficiency with Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook• Experience presenting to c-suiteWorking Conditions:• Large percent of time performing computer-based working in an office environment• Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted - This position is not eligible for sponsorship.• Physical ability to travel to customer sites, meetings and company events.• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record/MVR.• Travel:20%• Must live near Irving, Texas• Hybrid work environmentCareer LevelIC-Sales-P2We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
