So what will you be doing all day? You will be joining us as a Mission Critical Practice Manager within our Business Sector working on things like...

    • Supervising production staff executing the work of the practice, including assigning project responsibilities, managing work performance, guiding employee development efforts, and fostering positive employee engagement.
    • Maintains production systems, standards, and processes that meet client needs and contributes to strong client relationships and development opportunities.
    • Ensuring that production of drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements, and practice trends.
    • Serving as Project Manager for critical clients and projects within the practice, as needed.
    • Assisting the Practice Director to align resources appropriately with projects to maximize labor efficiency and prioritize client expectations.
    • Maintain the Sector goals of client experience to ensure a profitable market share within a practice, aligns client maintenance and development with sector growth strategies.
    • Recognizes necessary process changes in alignment with company strategies and processes to improve client experience.
    • Providing feedback to Practice Director and Sector Operations Director regarding staffing and client needs to inform hiring decisions and/or improvement efforts.
    • Assists Practice Director in the communication and collaboration across the practice to ensure consistency across projects.
    • Practicing effective employee relations and personnel management within the practice.
    • Collaborating with technical managers to align appropriate training, development, and mentoring of talent.
    • Managing client relationships as requested by Practice Director.
    • Maintaining knowledge and presence within the industry to contribute to project pursuits.
    • Assisting Practice Director and marketing staff to generate proposals and determine a profitable fee structure that aligns with the practice strategy.
    • Interacting with the client on a daily basis via Zoom meetings, chats and calls.
    • Participating in technical discussions with the client during new developments.
    • Managing practice financials.

We'd love for you to apply for this position if you have...

    • Have 8+ years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years personnel or project management experience
    • Have a willingness to operate in a constantly changing environment
    • Have a strong desire to have a business development and client interaction focus.
    • Are experienced in data center design and construction projects for the bulk of your career
    • Have a proven track record in contributing to the growth and development of client-focused engineering teams, as well as ability to motivate, direct, and coach staff.
    • Demonstrate excellent motivation, team leading, and the ability to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Possess a broad proficiency of engineering design fundamentals and advanced knowledge of the A&E industry, codes, design guides, and standards. Knowledge may apply to a broad range of practice, project, or program types.
Anticipated salary range for this position may be $104,000 - $130,000
Salary may be higher or lower than the stated range depending on factors unrelated to the applicant’s race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnicity, age, or disability. Salary can vary from this range based on geographic cost of labor statistical differentials.
