This position is primarily responsible for conducting detailed, prompt, and objective investigations of simple and complex Employee Relations matters.Essential FunctionsDeliver Human Resources services to client groups in a way that results in a seamless point of contact to the broader Human Resources organizationCollaborate with client groups and Human Resources in the design and execution of strategies to increase organization, team and individual performance, improving the organization’s capabilities to deliver against its strategic goalsProvide management coaching to build leadership capabilities with respect to addressing and resolving employee issues.Review and analyze client group data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improveDeliver Employee Relations (ER) consulting services to assigned client groups and employees on standard and complex ER matters.Recommend solutions to leadership, including corrective action up to and including dismissal based on organizational policies and procedures, while weighing the legal risk factors to the organization.Responsible for intake of complaint, investigating the allegation, developing an investigation plan, conducting effective interviews and data collection, completing a written summary, and effectively communicating with relevant parties.performance, retention, and employee experienceResponsible for unemployment functions, such as, claim responses and hearings.Responsible for responding to EEOC Claims for assigned client groups.Minimum QualificationsExperience: Minimum of four years of Human Resources Business Partner, varied Human Resources of interpreting and applying Human Resource policies, programs and processes. As well as a minimum of two years of consulting experience, including experience with needs/gap analysis, diagnosis, solution development and measurementEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related fieldCombination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted: yesLicenses and CertificationsMay require a valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's LicensePreferred QualificationsExperience in multiple areas of Human Resources, particularly talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, career and development planning, and compensation/classificationHuman Resources-related certifications (ex: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP, Coaching, Change Management, etc.)Master’s degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferredKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge ofHuman Resources best practices with respect to providing modern and innovative Human Resources solutionsMultiple areas of Human Resources (organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, employee relations, engagement and retention, talent development, etc.)Employment-related laws, regulations, and trendsSkillsHuman Resources analytical research as demonstrated by the ability to collect, develop, assess and blend information and recommendations from a wide variety of sources combined with deep expertise in organization solutions developmentChange management practices to assist client groups with their ability to successfully manage ambiguity and/or resistance during changeMaintaining an effective level of business literacy to provide a consultative approach to delivery of Human Resources servicesAbilitiesBe an influential and results oriented HRBP who can develop and manage relationships across client groups/Human Resources and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and subject matter expertiseCoach and influence multiple layers of managementDeliver results with little supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environmentMulti-task and reprioritize based on organization demand and prioritiesCommunicate clearly and concisely – verbal or written – for a variety of audiencesComputer SkillsProficient in various computer applications including Microsoft Office SuiteREASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS STATEMENTTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
