HQ is located in sunny Santa Monica, California with growing teams in New York, and across cities in the US and Latin America.Your Role at MediaLabWe are looking for an experienced and talented UI/UX Designer to join the WorldStar Hip Hop and Amino team. This role will work closely with the product and development teams to shape engaging digital experiences.What You'll Do• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle, including product launches.• Rapidly produce concepts and prototypes, with the experience to know when to apply pixel-perfection and when to focus on low-fidelity designs.• Create polished and visually appealing designs for web and mobile.• Conduct user research and synthesize findings into product and design strategies.• Lead cross-functional idea generation sessions and brainstorms.• Present designs and ideas to partners and stakeholders.• Collaborate with engineering to balance design and technical implementation trade-offs.• Partner with the product and data teams to create UI/UX A/B tests for validating designs.What We're Looking For• Strong product design skills with a focus on user-centered design methodologies.• Experience working in an agile project environment with distributed teams.• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy.• Experience designing and solving for mobile applications.• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, CSS and/or other design tools.• Proficiency in Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Looker, and/or other user analytics tools.• English proficiency.At MediaLab, we rely on a range of backgrounds, experiences, and ideas.
