As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals in accurately documenting patient encounters and medical information. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure comprehensive and efficient patient care.

Essential Functions:

• Accompany physicians and healthcare providers during patient visits and accurately document medical histories, symptoms, physical examinations, and treatment plans.
• Efficiently transcribe medical dictations, including laboratory and imaging results, consultations, and correspondence.
• Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between healthcare providers by documenting and relaying critical information.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and maintaining supplies.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Degree, associate degree preferred. Degree
• Minimum of 6 months experience scribing, education can replace experience requirement
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Impeccable Team working
• Ability to type at least 45 wpm
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment

• Future plans to continue to step into the healthcare field in pursuit of a career.

Hourly Salary Range

• $17-$18
