The system involves advanced mapping techniques to create detailed images of the heart's electrical activity, helping physicians identify abnormal areas causing arrhythmias. Once identified, the Affera Ablation System delivers targeted energy to disrupt these abnormal signals, restoring normal heart rhythm.As a Sr. UX/UI Designer, your role will be at the intersection of design and innovation. As part of the Cardiac Ablation Solutions team, you will work with a team of product managers, clinical specialists, engineers, and designers, guiding the design of our products, and shaping what amazing experiences look and feel like from a user perspective. You will work with a cross-functional team to understand strategic priorities and goals, and create design solutions that help meet those goals.Your curiosity, passion for human-centric design, and problem-solving prowess will be pivotal to your success.You are comfortable with a highly collaborative, fast-paced work environment and are able to respond to changing needs, successfully advancing in several different work streams ranging from prototyping new features, integration with other Medtronic software and hardware products, and delivery of software releases into investigational and pre-clinical studies.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:• You will help develop a clear product design vision, anchored to our overall product marketing strategy and our purpose as an organization, ensuring there is a strong connection and understanding of this vision within the team.• You will ensure there is a constant and holistic focus on the customer experience and work to ensure you deliver the highest standards of design and experiences across all customer touch points.• You will help evolve the product design organization to meet our needs now and in the future. You will lead on this journey to maturity, ensuring the team and stakeholders are connected, inspired, and fully engaged in this journey.• You will continually develop a deep understanding of the full ecosystem of our customers (patients, clinicians, payors) and how product design can create the most value at an overall experience level.• You will work in strong collaboration and active partnership with the software development team, ensuring you are prioritizing product design tasks to where there is the highest contribution and value against our strategy and roadmap.• You have a passion for building a culture of design quality, instilling a shared responsibility across the broader team to achieve design excellence.Must Have:Minimum Requirements• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications• Degree concentration in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Interactive Design or related field.• Expert-level knowledge of Figma and Jira.• Experience collaborating with a hardware team on the development of a combined software/hardware product.• Experience with medical device design and knowledge of FDA and IEC design guidelines.• Demonstrable experience in crafting innovative solutions using techniques such as design thinking, human-centered design, service design, UX/UI design, systems thinking, analytical thinking, and storytelling.• Proven…
