Who are we?

Becoming a Mentioneer means you’ll be joining our Referral movement, which is changing the world of marketing.

We’re on a mission to help brands harness the exponential power of their fans through the power of referral.

Since 2013, our referral-marketing platform has made it easy for online shoppers to refer great brands to their friends and family. We’ve delivered more than $2bn in revenue for over 500 brands including Puma, Michael Kors, ASOS and Ray Ban.

We’re changing the world of marketing, one Referral programme at a time.

The Role

You’ll be joining a team who are responsible for generating new sales opportunities for the sales team.

You’ll be meeting daily with marketing and eCommerce contacts from some of the biggest ecommerce brands out there. We’ve already got an impressive client list of brands like ASOS, Farfetch, Boohoo and Schuh.

Your role will be to creatively open doors and build initial relationships. This will typically be done by email and LinkedIn, complemented with warm calls and video meets.

A full training programme has been designed to support you in developing your skill sets, so you won’t be thrown in at the deep end and expected to swim!

Our SDR team is a close-knit, fun, collaborative and diverse group, all with unique personalities that add something different to the team. We always celebrate each-other’s successes and strive to learn from each other.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll research and identify businesses that fit our “Ideal Customer Profile” (ICP’s). These are ecommerce brands that we’ve identified we can add lots of value to - we’re all about quality over quantity
  • You’ll prospect, qualify and develop sales-ready leads and opportunities via email, phone and LinkedIn
  • You’ll run ‘qualification calls’ via Google Meet with key decision makers to introduce them to Mention Me. Building relationships and uncovering their needs/requirements
  • You’ll have targets to hit based on your performance metrics and number of qualified opportunities
  • You’ll work with the marketing team on our events and email campaigns
  • You’ll be working with our partner team to generate interest from prospects/their client base
  • You’ll stay on top of your admin, documenting all your activity in our CRM system

We'd really like to hear from you if:

  • You have creative and engaging writing skills, that will catch your prospect’s attention
  • You are able to tailor and personalise your communication based on research
  • You are coachable, eager to learn and want to develop your sales skills
  • You respond well to change, and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • It’s great if have you have some previous experience of sales, lead generation or using a CRM tool, but it’s not a must
