Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its “Top 100 Places to Work.”Overview:Reporting to the Vice President of Mercy Research, the Marketing Manager of Mercy Research is responsible for supporting the development, management, implementation and measurement of marketing initiatives that support the growth and awareness of research across the ministry and in the industry.The Marketing Manager will provide planning and coordination of measurable marketing projects for Mercy Research. The Manager will collaborate with other Mercy Research senior leaders and other Mercy functional leaders (such as Mercy Research Business Development, Mercy Integrated Marketing and Mercy Foundation) to develop growth plans and strategic communications for research initiatives, including any official research publication(s), and to ensure research initiatives are well-coordinated and optimized across the ministry. The Manager will also interact with and represent Mercy Research with numerous external audiences.The Marketing Manager will be familiar with all research operations and understand the language of research and health care in general. The Marketing Manager for Mercy Research will also promote the workinternally and externallyof Mercy Research to a wide variety of audiences.Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Mercy and Mercy Research.Qualifications:• Education: Bachelors degree in a healthcare or marketing related field• Experience: 7 - 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare/leadership, preferably in multiple areas of healthcare research• Other Skills and experience:• Organized, and reliable self-starter with strong creative thinking, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills;• Ability to manage at a detailed level with excellent and reliable follow-through;• Ability to balance the needs of the communities, Mercy Research and the ministry;• Ability to influence and manage change in a positive and collaborative manner;• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, working independently and collaboratively to get things done;• Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data and use in decision making;• Credible and articulate, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;• Strong writing, editing and project management skills; and Possess high degree of integrity character.Preferred Qualifications:• Education: Advanced degree in relevant field such as clinical or marketing• Experience: Clinical and marketing experience in a healthcare or research-based organization• Other Skills and experience: Demonstrated track record for success.We Offer Great Benefits:Day-one comprehensive health, vision and dental coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement and employer-matched retirement funds are just a few of the great benefits offered to eligible co-workers, including those working 32 hours or more per pay period!We’re bringing to life a healing ministry through compassionate care.At Mercy, our supportive community will be behind you every step of your day, especially the tough ones.
