  • Start: ASAP

  • Hybrid: 3 days a week at our Paddington offices, 2 day working from home 
  • Contract type: Permanent, full time (5 days) 
  • Working hours: 40 hours a week including a paid lunch hour. Flexible start and finish times.

Our team in the UK has grown to more than 40 people and we’re not stopping there, we’re looking for a superstar National Account Manager in our Grocery team. 

 

Role Overview 

Reporting into the Off Trade Controller, this is a brand-new role for an established National Account Manager looking to support, grow and maintain MOTH’s leading position in Grocery. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and developing a selection of accounts including a top revenue customer and some of our highest growth customers 
  • Working alongside Off Trade Controller to carve out the individual account growth strategy and implement that strategy 
  • Laser focused on driving the basics – range and availability 
  • The face of MOTH: building long-lasting, trusting relationships at both head office and store level that enable us to continue our category-leading position 
  • Responsible for understanding your account performance weekly and reporting on that performance to the team monthly 
  • Constantly searching for new ideas to grow both brand and category, looking beyond RTD to gain inspiration on what’s possible by customer 
  • Presenting those big, bold, category-leading initiatives and responsible for communicating the big-picture excitement involved 
  • Punctuating the blank space in data with customer insights to craft an all-rounded, considered approach to your customers 
  • Across departments:
    • Working hand in hand with trade marketing to bring new,  innovative ideas to life in-store and beyond, all with sales growth in mind 
    • Forecasting and re-forecasting regularly alongside the Operations  team to ensure that our Production team have all the info they need to handle demand 
    • Willing to get involved where needed with other departments across the business: previous opportunities working bars, helping at festivals, supporting trade shows etc. 
  • Demonstrable experience growing & managing national Grocery accounts 
  • Comfortable managing P+Ls, crafting JBPs & top-line trade plans 
  • Confident in setting, and achieving, commercial targets – Revenue, Gross Profit & Net Profit 
  • Commercially minded with an excellent grasp of excel and an eye for detail 
  • Accustomed to working alongside, and independently from, a Category team to gain insights on your account base
