Senior Program Manager, Doctor Talent Programs

About the role
As Senior Program Manager, Doctor Talent Programs, you will be responsible for talent management programs and processes for MyEyeDr.’s Optometrists, focusing on engagement, performance expectations, career development, org support structures, and succession planning. You will identify and prioritize needs; design processes; build tools; and scale programs for delivery and implementation. Additionally, in partnership with the Talent Analytics team, you will collect and organize data sets to inform program design, understand trends, and measure success.
 
As a leader supporting this critical talent group, you will strengthen the working norms and operational procedures associated with employee activities unique to our Doctors that may be executed by Doctor Leadership or Workforce Optimization. Projects may also include the creation of infrastructure that advances relationship building between cohorts of doctors throughout the organization to improve the overall experience of our Optometrists. Reporting to the VP, HR Operations, you will frequently partner with many groups throughout the company, including Professional Services, Learning & Development, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Optimization, Internal Communications, Legal, and Total Rewards.
This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices.
 
You Will 
  • Own end-to-end program management of performance, talent planning, succession planning, and career development for our Doctors
  • Design and implement large-scale talent projects from conception through execution, and sustain these programs through their evolution
  • Project manage recurring and developing programs, including communication touchpoints with key stakeholders and acting as primary point of contact for escalation and problem resolution
  • Build business cases, write executive summaries, and educate organizational leaders on new or enhanced programs
  • Uncover qualitative insights from business units through focus groups, discovery sessions, and surveys to inform talent program design and implementation
  • In partnership with Talent Analytics, gather and analyze talent data and metrics to support program recommendations and track progress
  • In partnership with Total Rewards, help connect talent programs to compensation and benefits offerings
  • In partnership with HR Operations, manage tools, technology, and vendors that enable programs 
  • Maintain a working knowledge of external best practices in the talent space, including emerging trends and technology
  • Take on annual initiatives that introduce or enhance new services or programs
  • Provide talent management related consulting and administrative support to HR leadership and business partners
  • Partner with HR Operations and L&D teams across our employee listening, training, and career development programs
 
About You 
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Talent and Organizational Development, including talent management, talent development, employee engagement, and/or organizational effectiveness
  • Education or certifications in Human Resources preferred
  • Experience with developing frameworks for performance management, talent planning, succession planning, change management, and career development in a high-growth, healthcare, or retail organization
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional, and highly visible projects
  • Working knowledge and understanding of HR principles, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgment to drive complex issues to resolution
  • A strong service orientation, high level of enthusiasm and a desire to help others succeed and grow
