The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a driven Business Analyst who can use their exceptional analytical and communication skills to collaborate and deliver value and a great user experience that clients love to use. You will also contribute to MYOB’s Business Analysis community of practice. We work hard to achieve best practice and harness emerging trends and are looking for more awesome people to join the MYOB family.

Our team:

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, complex, cross functional development team responsible for building innovative products that help small to medium business owners become more successful. With an agile mind-set and passion for solving problems and building software, you will be empowered to experiment, play and really make a difference to our clients.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to collaborate with stakeholders and sharing the information you gain with your peers generously. You will work within the team breaking down large complex problems into regular high value deliverables that our clients love.

All team members are expected to continually inspect, adapt and experiment, looking for opportunities to improve individually and as a team, so a growth mind-set is a must.

What you will bring

- You are a driven, self-motivated, resourceful, naturally curious individual who uses a creative mind-set to solve problems and help the team achieve excellence consistently.

- You have a superior understanding of agile principles and pride yourself on creating healthy meticulously groomed backlogs. You enjoy gaining and sharing information with the team and are comfortable with change, able to adapt as needed.

- Experience with agile practices, with a focus on maintaining a healthy groomed backlog.

- Excellent communicator and nurtures a collaborative environment.

- Comfortable to work in a complex environment and pick up the domain knowledge quickly.

- Great at presenting information through visual tools and techniques.

- Strong organisation and facilitation skills.

- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements.

- Comfortable managing priorities by working closely with the Product Manager.
