Chief of Staff

As the Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in driving Nafasi Connection's strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. This temporary, 3-month position requires a highly organized and strategic individual to oversee project management, team alignment, and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

    • Strategic Alignment and Team Leadership:
      • Drive team alignment with company objectives and ensure achievement of key performance indicators.
      • Facilitate regular team meetings to address roadblocks, celebrate successes, and provide strategic direction.
      • Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
    • Project Management and Operational Excellence:
      • Implement and manage a project management system to track progress and dependencies.
      • Monitor key performance indicators to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
      • Drive process improvements to significantly increase operational efficiency.
    • Performance Management and Reporting:
      • Conduct regular check-ins with team leads to provide feedback and support.
      • Deliver a comprehensive performance and strategy review to the CEO at the end of the term.
      • Ensure timely submission of financial reports, customer feedback summaries, and progress updates.
    • Team Development and Enablement:
      • Collaborate with the COO to finalize and implement a training program for staff.
      • Support the Marketing Manager in optimizing lead generation strategies and campaign execution.
      • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

    • Proven experience in project management, operations, or leadership roles
    • Strong ability to align teams with strategic objectives and manage cross-functional collaboration
    • Familiarity with tracking OKRs and KPIs to drive results
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Reporting Structure:

    • Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
    • Works closely with: COO, CBO, Marketing Manager, and other department heads
