Junior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about both coding and infrastructure, ready to bridge the gap between development and operations. Whether you’re a recent graduate or have up to a year of experience, we value enthusiasm, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset over years of experience. 

In this role, you'll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment and management of applications, with a focus on the Microsoft technology stack. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a conduit between development and infrastructure teams, enabling smooth collaboration and integration. 
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and rapid application delivery. 
  • Support and manage cloud-based environments, particularly within Microsoft Azure. 
  • Collaborate with development teams working with .NET applications to ensure code integrates effectively with infrastructure. 
  • Monitor and optimize application and system performance to ensure scalability and reliability. 
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Bicep, Terraform and Bash. 
  • Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues 

 

Technical Skills: 

  • Programming skills, especially in C# or related languages within the .NET ecosystem. 
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Azure DevOps pipelines. 
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker. 
  • Experience or familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Bicep, Puppet. 
  • Basic understanding of Linux Server environments including shell scripting and system administration. 
  • Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory): 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its services 
  • Experience with SQL Server and database deployment tools. 
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor . 
  • Exposure to Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing containerized applications at scale 
  • Familiarity with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for logging and monitoring.
