Customer Service Representative-Remote

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using our electronic health record system.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist patients with insurance verification and billing questions to facilitate a smooth billing process.
  • Provide information about our services, treatment options, and wellness programs to educate patients.
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns with empathy and a problem-solving approach.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or health care is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the health care sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and scheduling.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and scheduling software is preferred.
  • Empathetic, patient-oriented attitude with a desire to contribute positively to the patient experience.
