Job Description

The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with the internal teams & PMO to ensure proper support is provided, working closely with facility mangers to assist in supervising and inspecting all repair and maintenance programs/vendors, responding to and addressing facility related issues/repairs.  Additionally, the role will be responsible for special projects as assigned.

  • Coordinates with internal Facilities Team & Building Property Management Office for various fire alarm system shutdowns
  • Work closely with our finance department to maintain operating financial support and reporting; to include the submission and oversight of all purchase orders for facility related vendors.
  • Partner with our facilities help desk and facility managers to ensure work orders are being reported, tracked, and addressed in an effective and timely manner.
  • Proactively identify and implement efficiency strategies across the operation.
  • Conduct floor walks, enter work orders, and assists in managing repairs to ensure space is maintained to a best-in-class environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Facilities Management, Communications, Construction, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and present ideas to clients.
  • Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.

  • Must be willing to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and New York, New York.
  • Must be willing to work the 10pm – 6am shift; shift can vary (7am – 3pm or 3pm – 11pm)

Desired Characteristics

  • Desired minimum 1 year facility management experience.
  • Desired minimum 1 year project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage corporate office space and problem solve.
  • Construction project management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization and management and ability to build external networks.
  • Self-starter; demonstrates initiative.
  • Ability to analyze and present results in Excel and/or PowerPoint as needed.

Additional Information

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
