SCM Buyer III

The SCM Training Specialist will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and organization of our comprehensive Global Supply Chain Management (SCM) Training & Compliance program. The primary responsibilities will include the development of curriculum and other instructional materials aimed at enhancing the skills, knowledge, and compliance of the Global SCM organization, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), internal stakeholders and external parties to design, develop and execute customized learning strategies that align with Company Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines (PPSGs), industry trends & best practices, regulations, and other requirements. The SCM Training Specialist will also assist with the development and implementation of assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps, as well as with the implementation of systems to track and evaluate the effectiveness of the training program, embracing the latest training methodologies and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:• Support daily activities of the program, including the design, development, implementation, organization, and evaluation of SCM learning methodologies and strategies that closely align with the functional core competencies, and our organization's goals and values.• Collaborate closely with SCM leadership, SMEs, Global Technical Training, Talent Development teams, and other key stakeholders and functions to define learning objectives and conduct detailed needs analysis, including target learners, learning environment, and content analysis.• Interpret information provided by SMEs and collate content requirements to support further development of learning requirements.• Participate and assist in the development of an instructional strategy to meet designated learning objectives, ensuring optimal learner engagement.• Co-develop with respective instructors the instructional materials, overseeing the publishing process for all finalized curricula, including support elements such as facilitator and participant guides, and supporting media.• Prepare & present recommendations on curricula, instructional methods, and materials to be used in training classes.• Stay current with changes in regulations, internal PPSGs and reporting requirements, to ensure incorporation of any changes and updates to content as needed.• Prepare and submit necessary reports to management in a timely and accurate manner.• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment that focuses on continuous improvement.• Address SCM Training-related inquiries and other requests, ensuring open communication and conflict resolution.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.• 3 years of experience in supply chain related field or in instructional design and/or learning project management in the oil & gas industry.• Strong influencing skills.• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.• Excellent project management skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team in a bottom-line driven, fast-paced environment, juggling numerous projects with ever-changing priorities and deadlines.• Experience in Spotfire, PowerBI, and other data analytic and dashboarding tools.• Proficiency in analyzing complex data, making informed decisions, and implementing effective strategies.• High attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in all activities.Desired Qualifications:• Internal consulting and coaching experience helpful.• Knowledge and experience in application of instructional design strategies and techniques for the development of training material; thorough understanding of ADDIE model.• Applied knowledge of adult learning theory.• Ability to conduct front end analysis to enable the design and development of instructor-led & eLearning courses.• Development of storyboards for the development of e-Learning courses.• Design and development of training materials such as participant guides, instructor guides and presentations for instructor-led courses.• Applied knowledge in the use of Authoring tools: mainly Articulate Storyline.Some travel may be required to Midland, TX and Denver, CO.#J-18808-Ljbffr
