We are seeking a collaborative and passionate professional with a strong client-service orientation to join our UCAN-based Production Tax team as a Senior Tax Analyst. In this role, you will deliver high-impact tax and film production incentive support for Netflix’s global studio initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing studio-level production incentive considerations, offering strategic global tax and incentive planning and structuring advice, and conducting research and collaboration on legislative and global incentive policy initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Research and develop a thorough understanding of all domestic and international film & television production incentives.
Analyze and evaluate production incentive considerations for studio-level projects and initiatives, and define appropriate strategies and operational guidelines.
Provide tax and incentive advice to Netflix studio operations, legal, finance, accounting, and treasury teams, with specific regard to contracting structure, funding and payment flow, talent and vendor engagement, entity operation and formation, and transaction documentation.
Liaise with Netflix Content Accounting and FP&A teams on financial reporting related to global incentives.
Prepare technical memos, slide decks, and spreadsheets addressing complex tax and incentive issues.
Collaborate with the Studio Policy team to monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax/incentive legislation.
Coordinate with the broader Netflix Corporate International Tax and Tax Operations teams to define and implement appropriate tax planning strategies.
Qualifications:
We find that individuals who quickly obtained Manager-level at a studio or public accounting firm are more likely to be suited to this unique and challenging role. If you’re a Manager or a rising star Senior Tax Associate, we’d love to talk to you.
5 to 7 years of tax experience, including public accounting, law firm, and/or relevant in-house industry experience.
CPA, JD or LLM strongly preferred.
Experience with film production tax & incentive matters a significant plus.
International tax consulting experience is a significant plus.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-240,000.
