Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Pillsbury is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a passion for leading edge technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in network engineering, administration, and troubleshooting, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining complex network solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain complex network solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Maintain and monitor network performance, security, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology-related projects.
  • Stay up to date with leading edge technologies and trends in the network engineering field.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to network infrastructure.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related field
  • Expert knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
  • Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers (Cisco & Palo Alto)
  • Experience with leading edge technologies such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (Cisco ISE, Logic Monitor)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant network certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, Network+, etc.) is a plus
  • Have a passion for leading edge network engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
This position requires the ability to lift up to fifty pounds and to install equipment at any position in standard 7-foot EIA Relay Rack or NetApp cabinet. Occasional travel is required.
