Base Camp serves as the starting point for individuals embarking on their journey at Klaviyo and we have the privilege of ensuring their experience is top-notch. We're expanding our team and looking for a hyper-organized, enthusiastic individual to help drive meaningful impact. Let's shape the future together!
About the role
Join our team as a New Hire Onboarding Specialist and help create an extraordinary hybrid onboarding experience. You'll facilitate new hire sessions and build remarkable learner centric sessions. You will create a welcoming environment for new hires while also ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to succeed in their individual roles.
Did someone say "build?" Yes! You'll partner to build content from the ground up and help us move towards a new way of learning at Klaviyo. Collaboration with in-office teams, recruiters, and hiring managers will be key as you help drive onboarding efforts. You'll play a key role in implementing innovative onboarding initiatives for our diverse and curious workforce.
What we're looking for
- 2-3 years of experience in the learning and development field
- You have built workshops/sessions and/or learning programs from the ground up.
- You're a positive and upbeat individual who can facilitate thoughtful and captivating sessions.
- You are a trusted partner for stakeholders—able to counsel, consult, and recommend appropriate learning interventions to meet the needs of the business.
- You have a keen eye for detail and a knack for getting things done efficiently.
- A natural team player who fosters strong and collaborative relationships with teammates
- A master of time management, you enjoy juggling multiple objectives and projects; you possess an unwavering determination to follow up and ensure tasks are completed on-time.
- As a thoughtful and effective communicator, you are able to convey ideas with clarity.
- You embrace flexibility and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Nice to have
- Experience in a hybrid work environment
- A passion for making processes more efficient (We geek out over that!)
- The ability to laugh at least three times a day. We work hard, but have fun doing it!
