• Utilize knowledge and experience in building scalable and reliable backend systems, services, and APIs (application programming interfaces) that deliver value to our customers.
• Make impactful contributions and proactively identify gaps and future work for the team.
• Deliver and own large features end-to-end, collaborate with our product team to deliver high impact for our customers, and proactively identify ways to monitor the quality, reliability, and security of our systems.
• Abide by engineering best practices.

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

• Backend engineering;
• Java, Python, C++, C#, or Golang;
• Frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and JavaScript frameworks;
• Concurrent and parallel programming concepts;
• Using version control systems;
• PostgreSQL databases;
• UI toolkits and frameworks;
• Source code and version repository;
• Writing detailed technical specs and documentation; and
• Transforming requirements into design concepts and entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).
• Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.
