Information Security Manager

As an Information Security Manager at Node, your primary responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and implementing the lab’s information security initiatives. You’ll help define the current security infrastructure and design future programs, as well as offer support in executing risk assessments and creating solutions for security requirements.

To qualify for the Information Security Manager role at Node, you must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance, and you should be able to obtain DHS Suitability. A BS in Information Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, along with at least 2 years of directly relevant experience in information security.

Node values skills such as a strong understanding of Computer Network Defense (CND) policies and procedures, knowledge of network security architecture, authentication and access management technologies, as well as familiarity with security tools and current lab technology. Cybersecurity skills, including threat hunting and advanced knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), are also desirable.

While not strictly required, prior experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is highly desirable for the Information Security Manager role at Node. This experience can enhance your understanding of the specific requirements and challenges you may face while managing security in this context.
