This role is an integral part of our team, where you'll play a key role in providing high-quality computed tomography imaging and patient care services. Here at Northwestern Medicine, we pride ourselves on a patient-first approach, ensuring that every interaction makes a difference. As a CT Technologist, you'll be responsible for positioning patients accurately, selecting appropriate imaging parameters, and adhering to critical safety standards to ensure the well-being of our patients. You'll work alongside physicians to prepare for CT procedures, assist during examinations, and even perform image reconstruction. Having a valid ARRT certification on Computed Tomography is essential within one year of your hire date, along with other qualifications such as BLS certification and IEMA licensure. The physical demands include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, so a strong physical presence is necessary.
