At Northwestern Medicine, we are looking for a passionate Material Service Coordinator II for our Inpatient Inventory team, based at our Feinberg/Galter location in Chicago. As a Material Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services, working full-time from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on a set schedule that includes every other weekend and holidays. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing, issuing, delivering, and documenting linen and medical supplies. We prioritize a patient-first approach, making every interaction matter, and we want you to reflect that mission in your role. You'll conduct routine assessments of our supplies, maintain inventory levels, and respond to various customer requests, whether they come in verbal, written, or digital forms. With a commitment to organization and accuracy, you’ll ensure all supplies are appropriately labeled and stored while keeping your work area clean and orderly. Working in this position not only offers competitive pay at $19.25 per hour—plus a shift differential—but you’ll also become part of a team that values your role in improving patient care. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and ideally, at least a year of experience in materials handling within a healthcare environment.
