The schedule for this position is three 8-hour shifts 7a - 3:30p per week with every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required.

Join the compassionate team at Northwestern Medicine as a Patient Safety Technician on the Delnor Resource Team! In this rewarding part-time position, you will work three 8-hour shifts on days, including every other weekend, playing a pivotal role in enhancing patient care. Your days will be filled with meaningful patient interactions, where you will remain at the bedside of assigned patients, providing calming reassurance and support. You'll help create a safe and comfortable environment by identifying potential hazards and assisting patients with activities of daily living, all while closely monitoring their emotional and physical well-being. Your keen observations and effective communication will ensure that patients at risk remain safe and supported.
