Logistics Data Analyst

We are looking for a self-starting, passionate, analytical individual to join our team. As a Senior Logistics Analyst, you will have the opportunity to learn about multiple businesses across various industries while helping our team assess supply chain activities, review and evaluate data, processes, and key metrics. This position provides exposure to procurement practices, carrier pricing methodologies, industry tools and standards, and other value-added responsibilities.


Requirements
  • +3 years of experience in similar roles
  • Fluent English (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong emphasis on analytical and statistical skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze and structure problems using critical thinking.
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly adapt to a wide variety of challenges.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other MS Office programs.
  • Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, knowledge of SQL or similar query languages, familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (e.g., 3GTMS, OTM, MercuryGate), Power Automate or Power Apps, and SharePoint or Microsoft CRM.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct bid analyses for LTL and Full Truckload procurement events.
  • Perform transportation rate analysis, process reviews, and cost-savings analysis for continuous improvement projects.
  • Analyze transportation data from potential new clients to identify economic and process improvements, including data cleansing, rate analysis across various modes, basic optimization, and participation in client review calls.
  • Develop Power BI visualizations and reports to support existing clients and pre-sales efforts, utilizing data from TMS applications and Azure SQL.
  • Support analytics for continuous improvement projects and new client implementations.
  • Participate in internal continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote and ensure a safe work environment.
