Cyber Security Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor and facilitator, helping customers align their cybersecurity integration goals with business requirements. You will lead stakeholder engagement, organize workshops, and drive the implementation teams toward successful project outcomes, with a focus on solutions like Cortex XSOAR. This is a consulting position aimed at ensuring successful delivery through effective collaboration and oversight with client stakeholders and OBRELA technical implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Requirements Assessment
    • Collaborate with customers to understand and document cybersecurity integration requirements.
    • Evaluate existing processes and tools to identify gaps and recommend integration strategies.
  • Stakeholder Alignment
    • Identify and coordinate with key stakeholders from technical, operational, and business units.
    • Act as a liaison to ensure shared understanding and alignment on project goals.
  • Workshops and Collaboration
    • Plan and facilitate workshops to gather requirements, align expectations, and refine project scopes.
    • Drive interactive discussions to identify priorities and resolve conflicts.
  • Development of SOPs and Documentation
    • Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support the operationalization of cybersecurity solutions.
    • Document roles, responsibilities, and workflows to ensure sustainability post-implementation.
  • Implementation Oversight
    • Lead the coordination of implementation teams, ensuring alignment with the project timeline and objectives.
    • Monitor progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure stakeholders remain informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive Solution Deployment Strategy
    • Provide strategic guidance to implementation teams deploying solutions like Cortex XSOAR.
    • Ensure customer requirements are met without being directly involved in tool deployment or management.
  • Post-Implementation Review
    • Oversee transition plans to ensure successful handoffs to operational teams.
    • Facilitate lessons-learned sessions to identify improvements for future engagements.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and project facilitation.
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, automation concepts, and incident response processes.
    • Familiarity with tools like Cortex XSOAR, even if not directly hands-on, is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable project plans.
    • Strategic problem-solving skills and experience resolving conflicting priorities.

Preferred Certifications

  • CISSP, CISM, or similar cybersecurity certifications
  • ITIL, PMP, or similar project management certifications will be considered a plus
  • Blue Team related certifications will be considered a plus
