Office Assistant

University Student Apartments (soon to be Sunnyside Apartments) is looking for Office Assistants to join our leasing office team. This office is located in the newly constructed Cottonwood housing area. Our Office Assistants will open community amenity rooms for residents, as well as providing other office and leasing office duties as needed.
This job might be for you if you enjoy helping others, learning new things, and communicate clearly with people over the phone, in person and via email.
Must be able to lift mail packages and boxes overhead.

Responsibilities
1. Greet visitors at Cottonwood building office. Provide excellent customer service to individuals with varying traditions, cultures, orientation and racial and ethnic origins.
2. Receive and process mail packages for Cottonwood and Spruce housing buildings. Scan packages on arrival.
3. Notify and coordinate with residents the arrival and pick up of packages through online management tools (Yardi Concierge and Parcel Pending)
4. Build and maintain business relationships with package delivery services.
5. Meet residents at onsite community multiple purpose rooms to unlock and orient resident on use of the facility.
6. Process office forms with accompanying data entry.
7. Coordinate and communicate with various building stake holders.
8. Active member of the leasing office team that helps residents feel at home and comfortable on campus.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
