OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER
We are seeking an administrative professional to manage the day-to-day operating functions of a multidiscipline architecture/engineering consulting business. Depending on the successful candidates’ desires and qualifications this could be a part time or full-time position with the opportunity for advancement into other professional roles. The position requires a self-driven individual with confidence to make decisions that improve team performance and achieve cost efficiencies. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills to interact with both internal and external clients. The position supervises administrative services including clerical support, communications systems, printing services, mailing, purchasing, facilities maintenance, and other support services either in whole or in part. Responsibilities include:
Oversee and manage office facility infrastructure and supply vendors
Maintain office communication systems and be the initial point of contact for clients and external visitors
Coordinate meetings both internally and with external clients, in person or using video conferencing systems, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes meeting minutes.
Overall support of the Alaska staff on a variety of administrative clerical, and project tasks.
Assist as necessary with editing, printing and assembly of reports or marketing/proposal submittals.
Directs training of new personnel
Coordinate required field/project training of employees
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Two-year degree or higher. Advanced degree beneficial
3 plus years of related work experience, architectural and engineering office experience a plus.
Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of products
Valid driver’s license.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $63,000–$85,000 full time equivalent. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
