Power Purchase Agreements Originator

The PPA Originator is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with corporate clients and other entities. This role involves building strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their energy needs, and structuring agreements that meet both client and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seeks and acquires new corporate clients for PPA projects
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients’ stakeholders
  • Produces and maintains a lead list of potential clients
  • Analyzes PPA and power markets, tracks trend and stays updated on regulatory changes in Greece and abroad
  • Prepares and structures of initial commercial offers based on client needs and internal standards
  • Supervises the execution of contracts to ensure adherence to terms and conditions
  • Monitors the implementation and performance of signed contracts.
  • Approves settlements, prepares reports and produces budget of anticipated sales
  • Represents the organization in the market, participates in conferences and collaborates with industry professionals
  • Works closely with Development, Legal, Finance, Engineering, O&M and Trading teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Energy Management, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in energy markets (retail, trading, RES and BESS project development, or PPAs)
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Professional knowledge of English
