Job Description

Splash Landing Pools and water play area is located next to the Family pool. Splash Café, offers poolside food, cocktails and sweet treats. As a Splash Server you will provide superior food and beverage service to Resort guests at our pools in a relaxed and friendly, outdoor atmosphere.

 

*This is a seasonal position with an anticipated start date of April 15, 2025, and an end date of September 15, 2025.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and preparation as well as specials and '86' items.
  • Sell and up-sell items to increase revenue for the restaurant.
  • Know pool layout and cabana numbers.
  • Responsible for knowledge of the POS touch system and all checks opened in your server number.
  • Take the guests’ order, serve the courses accordingly and promptly tender payment of check. Always say farewell to guests as they leave.
  • Do any side duties delegated by the Manager on Duty.
  • Use exceptional service standards when greeting a new table and establish whether guest, member or local.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a food server highly preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have great communication skills – the ability to engage with guests professionally, appropriately and courteously.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

NECESSARY LICENSES/ CERTIFICATIONS

  • RBS Certification will be required prior to the start of employment.
  • Must complete CA Food Handler’s Card training provided upon hire.

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr + tips
