Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to responsible environmental stewardship, while working passionately to empower our customers’ modern lives through the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of electricity.Position OverviewAs a Designer Associate at Oncor, you’ll develop designs and prepare estimates to ensure quality construction of electric distribution system additions, expansions, and modifications in accordance with all Company policies and accepted standards to meet the needs of new and existing customers within budgetary guidelines. This role will also provide project management services for these projects from inception through completion. Training for this role will occur at any of our 4 approved training locations before placement at a service center within our market territory.Key Responsibilities:Excellent communication skills with customers and other work groups to ensure internal and external expectations are met.Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.Prepare designs and estimates for projects under direct supervision to provide electric facilities to meet customer needs.
